Oh for a few more hours in a day. I have been to the allotment and dug, taken a load of rubbish to the tip, manned the allotment stall at the local fete, collected washing from my son and family ( they were ill before starting their holiday) come home cooked tea, watered the tubs and green house and now hopefully a little sewing, whilst watching Mr Suchet as Poirot.
Sounds like one of my days :) Hope you get plenty of time to sew x Melanie x
ReplyDeleteI love Poirot, too. After your busy day, I am surprised you got any sewing in, let alone what looks like the makings of a beautiful star. Hope you join us again next month.
ReplyDeleteThat star is beautiful - thank you for joining in the Christmas QAL, I look forward to meeting up with you next month. :-).
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean with it being a busy time of the year down at the plot. If I'm not weeding, I'm watering...
Wow, I'm tired just reading about your busy day! This is such a busy time of year and we've had such nice weather. Often I'm torn between working in the yard and staying in to sew. The housework and grocery shopping are usually last on the list and often get missed!
